All about Animal Husbandry
One of the major sectors of the food industry is animal husbandry. In general terms, animal husbandry basically refers to the raising and breeding of livestock. Animals like cattle, sheep, chicken, swine, and the like are the common animals raised by farmers for the purpose of human consumption.
Animal husbandry, however, covers more than just breeding of farm animals. This industry also includes the production of milk, eggs, and other produce coming from raised animals. All these products, along with the livestock, are then delivered by the farmers to clients who will further process them into edible forms, ready for consumption by human beings.
